UGA taps Ortstadt for leadership development role for Terry College of Business

The University of Georgia has selected Kathy M. Ortstadt, MBA, to serve as Director of Development and Alumni Relations for Terry College of Business. A University of Georgia alumna, Ms. Ortstadt brings extensive experience in strategic and targeted fundraising in higher education and nonprofit organizations.

Prior to her appointment at UGA, she was Director of Development at the University of Colorado Leeds School of Business, leading a seven-person development team. Previously to her work in higher education, she served as Executive Director of Ian’s Friends Foundation, a non-profit organization committed to fundraising to advance pediatric brain tumor research.

Her leadership acumen has been recognized. In 2014, the Georgia Center for Non-Profits named her to its outstanding leaders list of “30 Under 30” and the Atlanta Business Chronicle placed her on its  “40 Under 40” outstanding leaders list.

Ms. Ortstadt completed both her undergraduate and graduate degrees at the University of Georgia.
