Virginia Lutheran Homes Inc. names Neff as President and CEO after national search

The Board of Trustees of Virginia Lutheran Homes Inc. has announced the selection of Heather L. Neff, MHA, to serve as the new President and CEO. Located in Roanoke, Va., Virginia Lutheran Homes is a not-for-profit, 501(c)(3) corporation established in 1967 that develops, owns, and manages long-term care facilities throughout Virginia.

With more than 15 years of experience in the field of senior services, Ms. Neff is a dynamic, mission-driven leader with a focus on person-centered care and organizational sustainability.

Previously, she was CEO of Waveny Care Network, which operates a portfolio of residence complexes, health clinics and related services in New Canaan, Conn. She also served in leadership roles at The Village at Morrisons Cove, Morrison Cove Home, and the Philadelphia Geriatric Center.

Ms. Neff earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Juniata College in Pennsylvania, and a Master of Health Policy and Administration degree from Pennsylvania State University.
