Myers McRae to Assist Wichita Area Technical College with Presidential Search

Myers McRae is assisting Wichita Area Technical College (WATC) in the national search for its next President. WATC has been delivering excellence in education since 1965 and continues to build on this tradition with quality instructors, talented students and state-of-the-art technical equipment. Together, these elements help create a hands-on learning environment that promotes participation and prepares students for career experiences.

 

WATC is a growing, changing technical college dedicated to student learning and employer-driven needs. Its outcomes-based learning is designed to support its mission by providing multiple avenues for learners to achieve their desired goals. Students can pursue a wide range of educational goals through more than 70 programs of study.

The College is a leader in high-tech training, especially for the aerospace and aviation industries.  Known as the “Air Capital of the World,” Wichita, Kansas, manufactures more than 60 percent of the world’s general aviation aircraft and is home to Cessna Aircraft Company, Bombardier-Learjet Aerospace, Hawker Beechcraft, Spirit AeroSystems, and The Boeing Company. More than 40,000 people work in the aviation and aerospace industries in Wichita, more per capita than in any city in the world.
