Myers McRae to Conduct Presidential Search for the Georgia Foundation for Independent Colleges

Myers McRae is assisting the Georgia Foundation for Independent Colleges (GFIC) in its search for a new President. Founded in 1956 by college presidents and corporate executives, GFIC supports private higher education in Georgia in the areas of public policy, fundraising for student financial aid and collabortive projects, in partnership with its member institutions and business and community leaders.
The purpose of GFIC is to raise awareness of Georgia's private, liberal arts colleges and universities; to influence public policy in support of higher education in Georgia; to secure funds and other gifts for the benefit of the member institutions and their students, and to promote the member institutions as distinct alternatives in higher education.
Member institutions include Agnes Scott College, Andrew College, Atlanta Christian College, Berry College, Brenau University, Brewton-Parker College, Clark Atlanta University, Covenant College, Emmanuel College, Georgia Military College, LaGrange College, Mercer University, Morehouse College,Oglethorpe University, Paine College, Piedmont College, Reinhardt College, Savannah College of Art and Design, Shorter College, Spelman College, Thomas University, Toccoa Falls College, Truett-McConnell College, Wesleyan College and Young Harris College.
