Myers McRae to Conduct Provost Search for Glenville State College
Myers McRae is assisting Glenville State College in its national search for a new Provost and Senior Vice President. Founded in 1872, to serve the higher education needs of Central West Virginia, the liberal arts college is widely recognized for its teaching excellence and is committed to building academic programs of distinction.
Located in Glenville, West Virginia, the state college has an enrollment of 1,443 students. More than 30 degree programs are offered, with minors available in many major fields. The student-to-faculty ratio is 18:1, and all classes, including labs, are taught by fully qualified faculty. The 59 full-time and 27 part-time faculty members continue the College’s long tradition of providing a supportive learning environment, enabling students to get an education that will prepare them for a successful career.
Glenville State College is a member of NCAA Division II and West Virginia Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. The college fields five men’s and six women’s sports.
The College holds accreditation from the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools and the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education.
